Writing Stories for Our Time

If you are a Christian and are new to writing fiction for kids and teens, you are warmly invited to take part in a free online training event, run by Janet Wilson of Dernier Publishing and Write for a Reason.

Times have changed.

How can we make sure our stories are relevant? How can we best encourage and inspire our young people in these changing times?

What do they really need right now?

This training will take place on Wednesday 27th October 2021 at 11am, 3pm and 7pm (UK time). The training will last about an hour, with Q & A at the end. Simply choose the time that suits you best!

Janet lives in London. She is a publisher with Dernier Publishing, and runs the Write for a Reason Academy, for Christians new to writing fiction for kids and teens. She is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with young people, through excellent, relevant, fun stories.

Our young people need all the help they can get, as they process the past and learn to navigate the current changes.

Stories are a brilliant (and fun!) way to help children and teens work through all the traumas of the pandemic.

We make sense of our world through story. Stories help us think things through. They allow us to consider issues for ourselves.

But what do our young people need? How can we best help?
